A glowing soft red field with large pale blue centre medallion; quarter medallions in the spandrels; ivory flowerhead and boteh motifs in the main border. A skilful vertical repair has been made to the centre by a previous owner. This is visible but fits harmoniously into the whole with the colours being just slightly lighter than the original.
