Inside there is a fabric slip that contains 5 metal protective tubes

This one seems to be working but I remember putting it aside because it needed some work which I never got around to doing and can no long identify what exactly I wanted to fix

Heavy Duty Bakelite Box French Inside there is a fabricGerman heavy duty Bakelite box. It has a divider in the center that does not go all the way up. Decent condition with some scratches and general wear. The inside is a bit dirty and dusty. I am unsure of its original intended use.
