Atefa underlay Loss to ends which haveA 1930s Salar Khani Baluch rug from northeast Persia. Dark blue black field with all over design with pale yellow and ivory highlight; triple ribbon and floral medallion borders. Lovely triplecorded selvedges which are characteristic of fine Baluch rugs. Soft wool fringes. Slight fraying to right selvedge, otherwise good pile and condition. A very genuine tribal village piece. 170 x 90 cm
